For my company's 7th anniversary, formerly known as "La Fabrique de Mahë", on January 24, 2026, we are now under a new identity. Mémé Marguerite is the natural continuation of La Fabrique de Mahë. It's not a break, it's a transformation. Everything that made up the essence of the first project is still there: craftsmanship, the love of handmade, respect for materials, and the desire to offer sincere and sensitive creations. Why "Mémé Marguerite"? One day, while talking about my great-grandmother, my grandmother naturally said “Mémé Marguerite”. That phrase stopped me dead in my tracks. In my mind, everything made sense: the name, the logo, the colors, the typography... Everything was fluid. It was obvious. This project is also a way to highlight transmission, that invisible thread connecting generations. Because it was my grandmothers who taught me how to sew when I was a child, as well as my auntie. And because it's important for me to shine a light on my Mémé Marguerite, whom I unfortunately never knew, but who I know remained in the shadows for too long. Like so many other women. So this is also a tribute to them. Because La Fabrique de Mahë was me. Mémé Marguerite, it's them, it's me, it's all of us.
