1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a site. We also use similar technologies: localStorage (browser local storage) and application cache (PWA). For simplicity, this page covers all these trackers.
We Event Principle: we don't resell your data. Audience measurement and advertising cookies are described in section 4, along with how to decline them.
2. Essential storage (exempt from consent)
These items are strictly necessary for the site to function (article 82 de la loi Informatique et Libertés — CNIL exemption). They cannot be disabled.

3. Third-party services (loaded on use)
Some features rely on external services that may set their own cookies:
Google Maps (Vendors and Contact pages) — display of interactive maps and city autocompletion. Google may set technical cookies (e.g. NID). Google policy.
Stripe (online payment for tickets, subscriptions, gift funds and vendor invoices) — anti-fraud security cookies (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) set only on payment pages. Stripe policy.
Bunny.net (video playback for podcasts / talkshows) — video distribution via European CDN, without advertising cookies. Bunny Policy.
Our fonts are hosted locally : no requests are sent to Google Fonts (GDPR compliant).
4. Audience measurement and advertising
The site loads the Google tag, used by Google Analytics (audience measurement) and Google Ads (advertising). Once you agree, it also loads the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram ads) and Contentsquare (browsing analysis), on www.we-event.eu only.
Nothing is accepted at first. The Google tag loads anyway: until you accept, it sets no cookies and only sends cookieless signals to Google, for example that a page was viewed. If you arrive from a Google ad, the information about that click is carried from page to page in the page address, instead of in a cookie. If you click “Accept all”, these tools set cookies, including those in the table below. If you click “Essential only”, they set none.
If the site places you in the United States or Canada, the banner offers “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” and “Got it”: these tools are active as soon as the banner appears, unless you click “Do Not Sell My Personal Information”.
