Event Equipment Rental
You promised the same lot twice.
You'll discover it with the truck half-loaded.
Here, quote acceptance is halted until you've seen the duplicate: the date, the batch, and the exact moment capacity is exceeded.

What your schedule doesn't show.
It's not your inventory that's letting you down.
It's your promises.
And you're relying on memory to keep them.
A client postpones their June wedding. You say yes on the phone, between two deliveries.
The quote signed in February included the same furniture, exactly for that date. It was sitting in another file.
Friday, you load up. The count is off.
You call a colleague that same evening. You pay for the emergency service. You don't bill anyone for it.
You haven't forgotten anything. You just had nowhere to write it down.
And a spreadsheet doesn't notify anyone.
What the season silently takes from you.
Three outright losses.
None ever appeared on an invoice.
The method
The equipment, the quote, the truck.
Nothing relies on your memory anymore.
Your inventory is entered once. Volumes included.
Two forms, filled out once. Physical equipment lists its total quantity, condition, daily rate, and event rate. The package you sell includes its security deposit and dimensions — the volume in m³ is calculated automatically from length, width, and height. This is what the quote, reservation, and loading assignment will then read.
The accepted quote reserves the equipment.
Each line becomes a dated reservation, from the day before to the day after the event. If the item is already promised for those dates, acceptance is halted until you acknowledge the duplicate, in black and white.
The deposit is managed automatically. The truck's capacity is measured.
The security deposit is sent five days before delivery — or within the timeframe you set — then automatically released if no damage is reported. The load, on the other hand, is compared to the vehicle's capacity: if it exceeds the announced m³ or kilos, an alert is triggered before departure.
01 · The Duplicate
The acceptance doesn't go through.
It's not a warning, it's a stop.
The engine doesn't just compare two totals. It scans the period reservation by reservation and pinpoints the exact moment the account overflows. Until you acknowledge the duplicate, the quote won't switch to accepted — and the day you decide to override it, it turns red, marked 'Overbooked,' on both the quote and in your reservations.
A quote accepted for an already committed batch: the system flags it, then shows where capacity is exceeded.
02 · The Security Deposit
You schedule it once.
It goes without you. It comes back without you.
Bank imprint without pre-debit: the client provides details, but no funds are debited. The request is sent five days before delivery — or by the deadline set for the item — and automatically releases fifteen days later, provided no damage is reported. If damage is reported, the retention amount is already calculated, the reason is mandatory, and the funds are deposited directly into your bank account: we don't act as an intermediary for these funds.
From scheduling to release: what you see, and what your client receives.
03 · Loading
The truck is measured before loading.
Volume in m³ is calculated from length, width, and height; weight is entered per unit. For each mission, a vehicle, its capacity in m³ and kilos: the total appears on screen as you check quantities. Exceeding this triggers a critical, named alert, detailing the excess, and it appears while you're preparing — not at the client's door.
Just a few more items, and the alert appears before the tailgate is even open.

Your worst Saturday of next season, calculated with you
No demonstration. We take a date — that one next season that makes your stomach churn — and for thirty minutes we tally together what you've already committed to for it. You leave with a sheet, not a subscription. Let's be clear: this is neither a setup, nor an inventory transfer, nor a training session. That's VIP support, and it's mentioned upfront rather than at the end.
- Your most popular items, and the number of units you can actually commit to on a single weekend.
- The volume in m³ and the weight of a typical load, compared against your truck's capacity.
- The places where your commitments overlap today: a verbal option, a quote buried in another folder, a date shifted over the phone.
- What deposit you require, when you request it, and what happens the day no one follows up.

They did it before you
« It's an event, often on the big day.
You can't afford to get it wrong. »
César Da Cruz rents event furniture: photobooth, bar, beer tap, granita machine. What he fears isn't a poorly filled screen. It's a date that can't be replayed. These are his words, about his own inventory: they say nothing about what your season will be like.
« We're not going to recommend amateurs... ultimately it will come back to bite us. It's an event, often on the big day: you can't afford to get it wrong. »

VIP Offer · 10 clients per department
Ten parks per department. The eleventh waits for a spot to become available.
Your package opens one account for you, two at best, and a catalog you have to enter yourself — usually on a Sunday in January. With VIP, data entry is done with you: your references, the m³ and kilos for each vehicle, your deposit amounts item by item. Ten rental companies per department, by quote.

Frequently asked questions
Our most frequent requests.
Once, yes, and on two levels — you might as well know that before saying yes. First, the physical equipment: reference, description, total quantity, condition (new, good, fair, out of service), daily rate and event rate. Then the actual lot you are renting: its rental security deposit, its dimensions, its weight. The volume in m³ is calculated automatically as soon as length, width, and height are entered. A pitfall, one that everyone encounters: an item can only be reserved if it is categorized as "Rental" or "Mixed" with stock management activated. After that, no more re-entry is needed — the quote, the reservation, and the loading assignment read the same record. For a large inventory, it's a lot of work, and it can't be squeezed in between two deliveries: the review conducted with you is VIP support.
You can. The block isn't a prohibition, it's an obligation to see it: you explicitly acknowledge it, and the booking goes to 'Overbooking' status, in red, on the quote as well as in the list of bookings. What changes compared to today isn't the permission. It's the record. The day someone opens the file in your place, they'll see what you knew when you said yes.
An item's availability sums up all active reservations placed on it, not just yours: the same batch cannot go out twice because two people are looking at it at the same time. On a multi-party quote, each batch becomes a service entrusted to a colleague, with its amount, deposit, and security. As long as a batch remains open, the signature cannot proceed.
No. It goes through Swikly, to your Swikly account, with your IBAN: the funds arrive directly to you. It's a bank imprint without pre-debit, so your client isn't charged anything unless there's damage. And a capture is never done silently: amount, mandatory reason, supporting documents, final confirmation.
