1. Purpose
These General Terms of Use ("T&Cs") govern the use of the We Event platform at we-event.eu (hereinafter "the Platform") published by We Event.
The Platform connects:
- The Clients (individuals or professionals) organizing an event
- The Providers (SIRET-certified professionals) offering their event services
2. Acceptance of T&Cs
Use of the Platform implies unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs. Any user who does not accept the T&Cs must immediately cease using the Platform.
Acceptance is confirmed by creating an account or, failing that, by simply browsing the Site.
3. Account Creation
3.1 Client Account
Free, accessible to adults with legal capacity. The Client provides accurate and up-to-date information.
3.2 Vendor Account
Reserved for professionals with an active SIRET number (France) or equivalent in their jurisdiction. Manual validation by our teams within 24 to 48 business hours.
The Provider guarantees:
- Accuracy of its registration
- Accuracy of published information (skills, rates, achievements)
- Compliance with all legal, tax, and regulatory obligations applicable to its activity (RC Pro, insurance, HACCP for catering, etc.)
4. Platform Role
We Event acts exclusively as atechnical intermediary. The Platform:
- Does not enter into contracts with Clients on behalf of Providers
- Does not charge any commission on contracts signed between Clients and Service Providers (0% commission)
- Does not guarantee availability, quality, or price of services offered by Providers
- Does not intervene in negotiation, invoicing, or service execution
5. Payments & subscriptions
5.1 Free for Clients
The use of the Platform is and will remain free for Clients. No fees are charged for quote requests, consulting provider profiles, or using planning tools.
5.2 Provider Subscriptions
Providers get a free base (Showcase) and optional paid modules. Pricing, commitment, and cancellation terms are on the Pricingpage.
Payments are processed by Stripe, as per Stripe Inc.'s terms available at stripe.com/fr/legal.
6. User-published content
Users retain ownership of published content. They grant We Event a non-exclusive, free, worldwide license, for their presence on the Platform, to reproduce, represent, adapt this content solely for Platform operation.
Users guarantee necessary rights for published content (photos, texts, logos). In case of dispute, user indemnifies We Event against convictions related to their content.
7. Moderation & suspension
We Event reserves the right, without prior notice, to suspend or delete an account in case of:
- Violation of these T&Cs
- Publication of illicit, misleading, defamatory content, or content contrary to public order
- Abusive behavior towards other users or the We Event team
- Attempt to circumvent Platform mechanisms (false identity, fake reviews, etc.)

8. Liabilities
8.1 We Event's liability
We Event implements reasonable measures to ensure the Platform's availability and security, without guaranteeing 100% availability. We Event cannot be held responsible:
- Service interruptions due to maintenance, updates or causes beyond its control
- Indirect damages resulting from the use of the Platform
- Acts, omissions or services of the referenced Providers
8.2 User liability
Users are solely responsible for their Platform use and the consequences of their publications, requests, or contracts with third parties via the Platform.
9. Termination
Users can cancel their account anytime from their personal space or by contacting support@we-event.eu.
For Provider subscriptions with commitment (e.g., Network module with 3-year commitment), early termination conditions are specified in the specific terms of the subscribed module. Remaining monthly payments due for the committed duration remain payable except in cases of force majeure or serious breach by We Event.
10. Modification of the T&Cs
We Event reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Substantial changes will be notified to registered users by email with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Platform after this period implies acceptance of the new T&Cs.
11. Disputes & Mediation
In case of dispute, parties will prioritize an amicable resolution. Any user residing in France may freely use the consumer mediation service in accordance with article L. 612-1 of the Consumer Code.
12. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These T&Cs are governed by French law for users residing in France.
Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts, notwithstanding multiple defendants or third-party claims, even for urgent or protective procedures.
For users residing in other jurisdictions, conflict of laws rules apply.
