How it works
From search to first message, in three steps.
You search, without creating an account.
Choose one of eleven categories (venue, caterer, DJs and musicians, photographer, entertainment, transport…), then a town and a radius around it. The directory is open to all: nobody asks for your email address just to look.
You compare using a public ranking.
Every provider is ranked on four criteria: profile quality, responsiveness to requests, client reviews and activity on We Event. The ranking starts again from zero every quarter, so it reflects the last few months of work.
You write to the provider directly.
Requesting a quote is free and the request goes straight to them. They reply, you fine-tune the details together, then they invoice you. Nobody steps into the conversation, and no commission is taken from their invoice.
01. The search
A category, a town, a radius, and no account needed to look.
You type “caterer” within thirty kilometres of head office, or “venue” around the town where the seminar is held. Eleven categories cover a corporate event from start to finish: venue, caterer, DJs and musicians, photographer, videographer, decoration, florist, entertainment, fashion and beauty, transport, and a wedding planner if your event calls for one. Profiles, photos and ratings can all be viewed without an account.
02. The ranking
A ranking on four criteria, reset every quarter.
The ranking rests on four criteria, the same for every provider in the directory: profile quality, responsiveness to requests, client reviews and activity on We Event (network, training, consistency, sales). It starts again from zero every quarter, so a provider near the top is there for what they have done in recent months. A subscription gives no bonus.

03. Getting in touch
You talk to the provider, and all the follow-up stays in one place.
The quote request is sent free of charge from the profile and goes straight to the provider, with no sales middleman. You sort out the details with them: the CEO's allergy, the time of the last train, the temperamental projector. If you open an account, also free, your event gets its own workspace: quotes received side by side, messages with each provider, the guest list. When your management asks how the event is coming along, the answer fits on one screen.

What people ask us most
All of it. Searching, viewing profiles, requesting quotes and the workspace are free for you, and we take no commission on what the provider invoices you. It's the providers who pay for their management tools, by subscription.
From a profile, the provider replies to you themselves: that's the whole point of direct contact. From the contact page, someone from the We Event team reads your message and replies.
First with the ranking: the same four criteria for everyone (profile quality, responsiveness to requests, client reviews, activity on We Event). Then with the quotes: you request them free of charge from the two or three providers you like, and they arrive side by side in the same workspace, so you can compare the amounts.
The quotes you receive are kept in your workspace, free once you sign up: each event groups its own, with the messages and the guest list. The June seminar stays separate from the December party, and whoever covers for you finds the file in the workspace rather than in your archives. The invoice comes from the provider, as with any supplier: we play no part in your accounting.
The contract is between you and the provider: we are not on the invoice and will not argue your case for you. Two things do work in your favour, though. You choose based on a public ranking that takes client reviews and responsiveness into account, and after the event, your review counts towards their rating: a provider who treats a client badly sees it in their rating.
