Communities · town festivals, forums, Christmas markets
In your service, everything leaves a trace.
The DJ 'we've always used,' the caterer recommended by a relocated colleague, the number copied from binder to binder. A public budget deserves better than oral memory: a directory where you can search by city and radius, a rating with a displayed calculation, and exchanges that remain in writing. Free for the community — and consulting it requires no account.
Free for local authorities · Consultation without account or registration · The provider's price is the price paid: no commission
Service record
The forum returns every year. The way it's set up, however, never does.
The associations forum is in eight weeks. The sound system was always handled by the same provider. This year, their number rings unanswered.
This number was stored in a colleague's phone. The colleague moved on in March. With him went: the caterer's contact, last year's agreed rate, and the reason we changed photographers.
So you do what the service has always done: you ask around. The neighboring town hall gives you two names. Only one responds. Their quote arrives without installation, without schedules, without anything that allows it to be compared to the next one.
And when the client asks for an update, you reply with the only truth: 'I'm waiting for reminders.'
A public budget needs justification. A phone call, no.
The method
The location, the quote, the written agreement.
You start from your town, not a form.
One category — caterer, DJ and musicians, entertainment, decoration, transport… eleven in all —, your city, a radius in kilometers. The directory is open to anyone who wants to browse: no email address required, no account to create to consult.
Compare based on a displayed package.
Each provider has a publicly calculated rating: verified client reviews account for 35%, activity-reactivity 25%, seniority-reliability 20%, eco-responsibility 20%. The counter is reset every quarter — a November rating reflects the autumn, not a reputation from three years ago.
You write. Everything that follows remains written.
Requesting a quote costs nothing, and the request goes directly to the service provider you've chosen — to them, not to an intermediary. Their responses, your clarifications, the time of the power cut in the square: everything is kept in a dated messaging system, linked to the event.
01 · The Territory
Your city, a radius, eleven professions. And no one asks you to account for it.
The town festival needs musicians and a caterer for the refreshment stand. The forum needs entertainment and a photographer. The Christmas market needs decorations and shuttle services for parking. Eleven categories cover these needs: caterer, DJ and musicians, entertainment, decoration, photographer, videographer, florist, transport, reception venue, fashion and beauty, wedding planner. You search by city and radius, you read the profiles, photos, reviews — for free, and without creating an account. An agent preparing three files can consult for all three, right now.
02 · The Rating
A calculated rating, not a recounted reputation.
'We know them' is not a defensible criterion. The rating, however, is: four public components, weighted from most to least significant: 35% verified customer reviews, 25% activity and responsiveness, 20% experience and reliability, 20% eco-responsibility — and the full breakdown is displayed under each name on the page. It is reset every quarter: the page describes the provider's performance over the last few months, not their track record from two years ago. For providers, paid options accelerate visibility; however, they do not negate the need for merit: without reviews, without responsiveness, without work during the quarter, nothing will climb the ranks. When you are asked 'why this one?', you will have clear criteria to cite.

Four weighted criteria, displayed under each name, reset quarterly.
03 · The Written Record
Quotes organized, exchanges dated, ticketing as needed.
Registration is free and opens a management space: each event gathers its received quotes, its messaging with each provider, its guest list. What has been agreed is written, dated, and re-readable — by you, and by whoever takes over the file after you. And if your public event sells tickets, online ticketing is available: 1% incl. VAT ticketing fees, and bank fees are paid by the ticket buyer, not by the municipality.
Frequently asked questions
Our most frequent requests.
With the providers: they subscribe to their management tools and visibility options. For the community, nothing is charged — neither searching, nor reading profiles, nor requesting quotes, nor maintaining the management area — and no commission is taken on contracts. The only possible fee concerns you if you sell tickets online: 1% incl. VAT on ticketing.
No. Registration is free and without obligation: you don't buy anything by opening an account, and nothing by consulting the directory — which doesn't even require an account. However, ordering a service remains subject to your public procurement rules, whatever they may be: We Event does not replace them and does not exempt you from them. The directory helps you find and compare; the purchasing procedure remains yours.
The conversation takes place within the event's messaging system, between your account and the vendor concerned — it is neither public nor shared with other vendors. Your quote request goes directly to the professional you have chosen — it is not broadcast to a list. And the thread remains in your space, dated and re-readable: it doesn't disappear with someone's email inbox.
It's available for your public events — concerts, shows, festive meals — and can be managed from your administration area, free after registration. Ticketing fees are 1 % incl. VAT, and bank fees are paid by the ticket buyer: they won't add to your budget.
Yes. The platform groups your events, and each maintains its own dedicated file: received quotes, messages, guests. The June party won't get mixed up with the December market, and the history of one edition awaits the next in the same place. On the day of a handover, the successor simply opens the files — not the department's email archives.
